We understand that ordering off the internet can be an intimidating experience and we value your concern as a collector. We prefer that you phone in your order or inquire by email and we have developed a simple way to make you feel more comfortable.  Our director, Emilie Howard or myself, will personally call you to complete your order and answer any questions you may have. All credit cards are taken over the phone by Mrs. Howard and your personal information is kept safe and secured.

We guarantee that all limited editions and originals purchased from us are created by Ashton Howard.  We also guarantee that all limited editions come with a "certificate of authenticity" with Ashton Howard’s official signature.  All originals will have a "Certificate of estimated value" with Ashton Howard’s official signature.  We encourage our customers to order DIRECTLY FROM US so that they are regularly informed of all new art.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at any time!

WHAT IS:

"Giclee on Canvas”
A Giclee, pronounced (Gee-Clay) is an extremely high quality canvas print. After Ash finishes painting an original, it is scanned and a huge digital archive is created.  He then color matches the proofs as close to the original as possible.  The file is then ready for printing and large format printers lay down millions of beautiful colors to produce your print.  A UV coating is sprayed onto the canvas giving it a protective and long lasting sheen.  Each and every piece has Ashton Howard’s logo, the title, and the size of the image printed on the back.  Each piece is gallery wrapped on 1-1/4 inch bars so the image continues around the edge of the canvas and it is wired ready to hang.

“Hand-Highlighting”
Certain pieces such as Artist Proofs and Mural Editions are hand-highlighted by the artist.  Ash usually paints over the highlights in his waves, torches, lights on his huts, clouds, and palms, etc. that already exist in your Giclee.  These highlights on your piece will never be the same as another person’s piece, making yours completely unique.

“Artist Proof” or “AP”
Artist Proofs are a separate edition from the Signed and Numbered edition.  Usually about a tenth of the SN edition will determine how many AP’s will be produced.  All AP’s are personally hand-highlighted by Ashton Howard.  Each one is also Signed and Numbered by the Artist.

“Signed and Numbered” or “SN”
These limited edition Giclee’s are signed and numbered by Ashton Howard.

“Framing”
We sell most of Ashton’s work unframed.  However we have many signature frames for Ashton’s pieces that consist of high quality Tropical designs.  Please inquire by email for samples of our signature frame designs and stay tuned for more updates on our framing options.

 
“Shipping”
How do you ship your products?  We ship all of our products via Fed-Ex.  We have found in our own experience that Federal Express is the most reliable and considerate when it comes to handling fine art products. 

When will my order arrive?  Once we have received payment, we will process your order and provide you with a tracking number by email so that you can track your order and know exactly when it will arrive.

“Payment"
What type of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Pay Pal, Business and Personal checks.

Will Ash paint something just for me?
Yes! Ash accepts commissions All the time! Dream up your favorite tropical place and even combine ideas with photos you have captured throughout your travels. He would love to speak with you about painting a completely unique original just for you.

How long will it take to complete a commission?
Usually it will take about 4-6 weeks to have an original painting completed once the idea and composistion has been established. Ash has completed many of his commissions much earlier than the estimated time, but we always like to over estimate just a bit to give him extra time.

Does he paint murals?
Yes! Ash has painted many murals in his time. That is actually one of many ways he started developing his art career as a young artist. The majority of his murals have been for private residences, but he has also been commissioned by businesses and organizations for public and corporate work. He is currently seeking very large scale public murals that will carry an enviromental message about "respecting and protecting" our oceans and environment. Please stay tuned for information and pictures of his murals. Feel free to inquire if you are interested in having a mural painted.
